Planning Our Gardens: The Garden Survey
The new Garden Initiative group at Buckman would love to hear from you about the direction Buckman's garden & grounds should move towards.
Hello Buckman Community! I've had the pleasure to meet a few of you, but not nearly all of you. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Neva's Mom (first-grader in Ms. Miles class) and a landscape designer. Last spring, I started having conversations
with parents, school staff, and the Buckman community regarding the exterior grounds of our school. Many agreed that the magic and creativity that happens daily inside our school walls was not reflected outside. I think we can change that! To start this process, I am asking for your input.

Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School offers an exciting arts-integrated learning environment for students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Buckman nurtures the whole child and strives for academic excellence through rich experiences in the visual, movement and dramatic arts. Buckman is open for admission through Portland Public Schools’ transfer process.
