Buckman Family Dance on 1/23
Please join us on Friday, January 23 from 6:00-8:00pm for a night of great music and dancing!
With performances by The Buckman Marimba Ensemble at 6:00pm, followed by Boka Marimba at 6:30.
This is a free community event. Donations at the door are welcome. Money raised will go towards music scholarships for Buckman kids!
Performances by Boka Marimba have been made possible by a generous grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council.
Buckman SUN Community School is a collaboration of Impact Northwest Multnomah County Office of School and Community Partnerships, the City of Portland Parks and Recreation Department, and Portland Public Schools.
Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School offers an exciting arts-integrated learning environment for students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Buckman nurtures the whole child and strives for academic excellence through rich experiences in the visual, movement and dramatic arts. Buckman is open for admission through Portland Public Schools’ transfer process.
