Apologies for the delay on February updates; we've been struggling with a complicated site migration. We're still on the old location for now (which may cause the nav bars to flip from right to left & the color scheme to disappear, ugh.)
The Buckman Auction is this Friday, February 6th at the Melody Ballroom, 615 S.E. Alder. Donations have been pouring in and we are ready for a great night out to benefit our school. Doors open and Silent Auctions start at 5:30, with live music by Anomalous Quintet. Dinner is at 7:20, followed by the live auction.
We have two weeks' worth of Buckman Newsletters here ready to be downloaded (PDF)!
Did you know that the Buckman auction is less than a month away?
We hope you will be able to join us tonight when the Buckman Chorus performs downtown at Pioneer Place at 6:00 P.M. Due to the weather, the chorus was unable to perform today at Laurelhurst Village and then downtown at City Hall. A fabulous concert was held in our own Cafetorium for all students instead. Barring drastic changes (again) in the weather, the show is still ON for tonight. Chorus kids should plan to meet at 5:45 at the bottom of the escalators in the older section of the mall. Hope to see you all there.
School has already been canceled for Monday, December 15th due to the weather. Do remember that Vermont Hills is also closed when PPS closes.
The new Garden Initiative group at Buckman would love to hear from you about the direction Buckman's garden & grounds should move towards.
How does it fit alongside Site Council, BCP, or PTA? What's the mission? When does the group meet? How can I be involved?
