You Can Make a Difference!
Buckman is a special school where a love of learning and a love of the arts combine. It is also a place where families, students and staff strive to build a stronger community every day.

How to Help
Below are just some of the ways, big and small, that you can support this unique school. We cannot do it without you!
- Join the PTA.
- Sign up for monthly giving or make a one-time donation to the Buckman Foundation
- Purchase SCRIP for your regular shopping and for gifts
- Buy or sell a Chinook Book
- Join the Buckman Auction team
- Join the Art Show & Sell committee
- Enroll your Washington Mutual Mastercard in the WaMoola for Schools program and select Buckman as your school. Each dollar spent earns Buckman points!
- Use goodsearch.org when you search the Internet. Goodsearch is a non-profit search enginge that gives one cent per search to the organization of your choice.
- Lend your grant writing, fundraising or public relations expertise!

Buckman Elementary School offers a rich arts-integrated curriculum, and is open for admission through the district's transfer policy to all elementary students in Portland Public Schools.
