Support the arts in education and enjoy a great night out!
Join us on April 23, 2010, for dinner, drinks and music and bid for fantastic must-have items and services in annual Buckman Auction at the Melody Ballroom. Socialize, dine, and shop with your friends and fellow Buckman parents. Bid on unique items and packages in the silent and live auctions. It's a fun evening out on the town to support our beloved Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School!
This year's Buckman Auction theme is «Glow,» reflecting the glow that surrounds Buckman students, who are shining with self-confidence, creativity and excitement about learning.
Proceeds from the 2010 Buckman Auction help to fund staffing for Buckman's unique arts-education program. Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School does not receive additional funds from Portland Public Schools to pay for the additional staffing needed for our arts program.

Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School offers an exciting arts-integrated learning environment for students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Buckman nurtures the whole child and strives for academic excellence through rich experiences in the visual, movement and dramatic arts. Buckman is open for admission through Portland Public Schools’ transfer process.
